Buble Nation gathered once again Tuesday night Giant Center in Hershey.
Enamored, enthralled and overly-excited by his every joke, story, gesture and, oh yeah, song, the 32-year-old Canadian crooner ruled the night.
Buble is the king of a swing, lounge, big band empire combining a young, hip persona with old, classic music.
The thing about Buble is that his voice isn't particularly remarkable. It's certainly good but it's the whole package of his goofy, sophisticated personality, sex appeal and a retro style of music that makes him a star.
Who else could combine fart and soft porn jokes with his take on "Always On My Mind" ?
Wearing a black suit, white shirt and black tie - and backed by a 13-piece band -- at one point he jumped down from the stage to visit with a young fan and ended up staying for a few minutes to take pictures.
Later he "stormed" off stage for some shtick by one of the band members about Buble's diva tendencies.
Like the artists he's often compared to - Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin - he's a natural entertainer.
"I want to thank you, I don't take this for granted," Buble said in his sincerest tone. "I'm blessed and I'm lucky."
But comedy and speeches are not what pays the bills, it's the music, and Buble delivered with a set that ranged from sexy ("I'm Your Man," "Me and Mrs.Jones") to sentimental ("Home") to cool ("Fever," "Call Me Irresponsible") to fun ("YMCA").
Like the hockey player he dreamed of being, Buble is now a multi-threat performer;
The opener, New York's Naturally 7 showed off their own impressive array of skills.
Clad all in white the septet performs acapella or what they call "vocal play" providing the words and the instruments with just their voices for their version of tunes by Mr. Mister, Simon & Garfunkel and Phil Collins.
