Tarkan Deluxe

Following his fourth Harbiye Open Air concert in Istanbul on the 21 August - Tarkan gave a concert in the Turkish city of Çorlu on 24 August, ending his summer run of Avea concerts in Turkey.

He repeated his run of crowd-pleasing concert performances yesterday evening to a crowd of 50,000 people, at a concert that the local council had billed as the "concert of the year".

Opening with his second German release single, "Start the Fire", and noted for the highly professional organisation and usage of the latest sound and light technology, fans were treated to a spectacular show.

Speaking after the concert, Mayor Altan Ersin thanked Tarkan for staging a world-class performance in the region, and extended an invitation for Tarkan to come every year.

Tarkan returns to Istanbul for his fifth and final appearance at the Harbiye this evening.
